Synopsis/Details
After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers steps onto the portal pad with Mjolnir and the Infinity Stones — a mission seemingly straightforward: return each one to the moment it was taken. But time is never simple, and neither are the emotions left behind.
From aiding Frigga in Asgard and seeing through Loki’s illusions, to silently rescuing Bucky from Hydra’s grasp in 1970, Steve's journey isn't just one of duty — it's deeply personal. In Kamar-Taj, he saves the Ancient One from a Chitauri ambush and seeks answers about reversing the irreversible — Natasha’s sacrifice. But it's on Vormir, the haunting heart of this journey, where Steve must confront the soul of what was lost… and accept what cannot be changed.
Each stop in time reveals a fracture — a ripple — that offers Steve glimpses of what could have been. Conversations with versions of Natasha, unspoken goodbyes to Peggy, and a stolen moment of peace haunt him with every step. The final return of the Mind Stone brings closure… but also the weight of telling a ghost she died a hero.
And as the credits fade, a shadowy post-credit scene reveals an alternate reality — where Hydra, not S.H.I.E.L.D., finds the frozen body of Captain America… planting seeds for a rewritten future.
Steve Rogers: The Last Mission is a grounded, emotional, and mythic epilogue — not about saving the world, but about honoring its memory.
