The only thing that ever made a lick of sense to me is cinema. Of course, sometimes it doesn't. Not really. But, contrary to life, when that happens, it is divine. Paging the avant-gardists, like David Lynch, Alessandro Jodowroski, Maya Deren... Pedantically paraphrasing Godard: "...cinema is the truth, and cinema is 24 times the truth every second."
