Synopsis/Details
A space liner captain and his troubled son Jed try to find a way to coexist after the courts send him to live onboard ship with his father. Jed is paired with a floating AI mentor which observes and reports his behaviour daily. Jed hacks the mentor and gives it a new personality, making it more accomplice than guardian. The owner of the space liner orders Jed’s father to take the ship off course. He wants his wealthy investors to witness a giant ice meteor shower. The proximity of the space liner awakens a sleeping alien race who were hiding in the ice. They attack the ship. The passengers are evacuated but several escape pods are captured and taken onboard the alien vessel. Jed’s pod crashes on the surface of the alien ship and he and the mentor must find a way to rescue survivors and take out the aliens before they reach earth.
