Synopsis/Details
Set in present-day Boston, Damien West, an African-American physicist, uses a machine, that he and his lab partner Michael McManus created, that’s surgically implanted into his body, to travel through parallel timelines and recreate his choices. Believing people are mere chess pieces to be used, and scheming his way on an FBI investigation dealing with radioactive bodies, Damien manipulates the FBI and Special Agent Abigail Chase into investigating the deadly corporate world of high science and technology, a conspiracy, the events of which, leading up to his death over a decade ago.
However, things take a baleful turn when the conspirators catch wind of Damien’s plans, a cataclysmic conflict ensues, resulting in the radioactive bodies that caused the initial FBI investigation. As the facade of lies surrounding Damien and the machine builds, Michael suspects Damien is harboring even darker and deadlier secrets endangering them both, as the fabric of reality begins to deteriorate, fragmenting Damien’s mind, as he is unable to tell what is real and what is the “junk” from his subconscious spewing out into the real world.
