Synopsis/Details
Not too long ago, Dakota met a man named Clem while waiting for the bus downtown. Clem took advantage of Dakota’s kind nature and was able to convince the young man to lend him several hundred dollars. Despite Clem’s claim that the donations he receives from the public are for his sick wife’s treatment, Dakota feels he’s been ripped off. Embarrassed, Dakota turns to his criminal friend, Les, whom he has also spent his money on in the past. Les agrees to assist Dakota in getting back his cash from Clem – but on the condition that Les be paid for his services. Dakota says that’s no problem – as long as he gets back some of what belongs to him. Dakota does not realize that Les is taking advantage of his trust – and will soon make a profit from their friendship in a way the young man is uncomfortable with.
