Synopsis/Details
If you take some of the dynamics with the mother/daughter relationship in Postcards from the Edge, set in not a post Apocalyptic society per say; but a look at one that is breaking down and satirically headed that way. As I said, the traffic and earthquake scenes in L.A. Story really nail the lampoonery and tonality of TexPoacalypse. Americans are still reeling from COVID and its impact that the shutdown had on so many, even 4 years later. Folks already depressed; some maybe a little emotionally unstable and lots are wearing their happy face even though inside, they're hurting or depressed. So what would happen if we experienced another shutdown? An extended shutdown.
