Synopsis/Details
“The Band 4 – The Air We Breathe” is written along the lines of films such as “The Fault in Our Stars” & “Me Before You.” The story’s about a sheltered young woman named Marguerite who uses her inheritance to take a European vacation. Once overseas, Marguerite meets an anxious man struggling with depression named Chase who happens to be a famous member of the musical act The Band 4. As fate would have it, Marguerite and Chase share an almost otherworldly connection with one another and decide to get married. Cut to several years later and the couple is happily raising two sets of twin boys…when a dying woman named Sarah drops off her newborn on their doorstep. Immediately Marguerite senses the same supernatural connection she has with Chase, and decides to keep the baby. The problem is Child Welfare Services won’t allow her to unless she can get approval from the mother. Now, with her heart hanging in the balance, Marguerite must locate Sarah…or stand to lose the magic inherent in another inexplicable connection.

The Writer: Marguerite Gruen

Marguerite Nardone Gruen grew up in North Eastern Pa where she still resides with her husband of 36 years. Her first Novel 'The Band 4 - The Air We Breathe' came about from a dream she had that she couldn't stop thinking about. Weeks later she felt she had to sit down and write it out because it was so powerful - still on her mind. 300 pages later she had her first novel having had no aspirations to ever become a writer. She felt that dream was telling her something and felt that strongly about it. After many requests to keep the story going - it is now a trilogy.
