
Synopsis/Details
A True Story From The Great Depression.
A young mother from a gypsy family has lost her child due to murder in foster care, Betty suffers from depression, nobody seems to care for her or considers her fears for the safety and protection of her children while they are placed in care in children's services. She is stranded and deprived access to her children. Betty has little hope of seeing her children ever again.
Her third child Alexina dies in a foster home and there is a cover - up by police, and foster parents into the murder.
An historical police inquiry takes us from 1960 to 2022 into the controversial methods of the Scottish Police Force revealing corruption by the establishment. Betty secures her voice and protests in public seeking truth and justice for her children.
