Synopsis/Details
Thomas, a young boxer who grew up in an orphanage, is sentenced to life imprisonment for a murder he did not commit. In prison, he clashes with a bully. He is renovating the library there, which has not been working for years. In the library, he accidentally finds a notebook, which he realizes after reading that it was written by his grandfather, who was in the same prison and left instructions for his escape. Grandpa explains that all the men in his family have seven moles under their armpits in the shape of the Big Dipper constellation and that this sign is their family coat of arms. Thomas also has the same moles and learns that he was actually born as the third of three twin brothers, but the doctors pronounced him dead. In his cell, he finds the sign of the Big Dipper that his grandfather had drawn. According to the instructions from the notebook, Thomas escapes from prison. He goes to Arizona and finds his grandmother, from whom he learns that his grandfather died two years ago. For fear of being wanted because he escaped from prison, the grandmother takes Thomas to safety through her friend. A friend takes him to Alaska, like his grandfather. There, Thomas finds the house where his grandfather lived. Later, he also finds the boat that his grandfather used for fishing. Returning to the house, Thomas sees a light on. He finds his grandfather in the house. After talking with his grandfather, he teaches him about life and fishing in Alaska. After returning from fishing, Thomas feels that he is not well and falls unconscious. He wakes up in the prison hospital where he learns that a same bully stabbed him in the kidney and that he was in a coma. Disappointed that everything was just a dream, Thomas returns to his cell. In the cell, he again saw the sign of the Big Dipper on the wall.
