The trip begins with lighthearted banter, scenic adventures, and campfire bonding. However, underlying tensions between Tatum, Damien, and James create an uneasy atmosphere. That night, Damien asks Leila to take a walk with him, where he confides in her about his lingering feelings for Tatum and a complicated situation involving her. The conversation grows heated, leaving Leila emotionally exhausted. Act 2: The Incident Leila wakes up deep in the woods, disoriented and covered in blood, with no memory of how she got there. Nearby, she finds Damien’s lifeless body, brutally attacked. Shocked and terrified, Leila convinces herself that she must have killed him during a blackout. Panicked, she cleans herself up and returns to camp, hiding her horror. The group soon notices Damien’s absence and begins searching for him. Leila’s guilt and fear grow as she struggles to keep her composure, but her erratic behavior catches Sam’s attention. Act 3: Sam’s Suspicion Sam starts piecing things together. He notices Leila’s nervousness, the faint bloodstains on her clothes, and her reluctance to talk about the previous night. He begins to suspect that she knows more than she’s letting on, and his pointed questions corner her further. Leila, consumed by guilt, does nothing to deny his suspicions. Sam grows more confident in his belief that she killed Damien and confronts her away from the others. He accuses her outright, telling her that he plans to tell the rest of the group. Desperate and afraid of losing everything, Leila panics. She tries to stop Sam, pleading with him to keep quiet, but when he refuses and turns to leave, she attacks him. In a moment of blind desperation, she strikes Sam with a heavy branch, killing him. Act 4: The Aftermath Leila is horrified by what she’s done but convinces herself it was necessary to protect herself. She hides Sam’s body and returns to the campsite, shaken but resolved to act normal. The group grows increasingly alarmed as both Damien and Sam remain missing. Meanwhile, Leila’s fragmented memories start to resurface. She recalls seeing Tatum arguing with Damien and a struggle that didn’t involve her. Slowly, she begins to suspect that she isn’t the real killer. However, her actions have now ensured she’s responsible for two deaths. Act 5: The Climax Leila’s memories fully return in a final flashback: Tatum, in a fit of rage over her unresolved feelings for Damien and a secret she shared with him, attacked Damien and staged the scene to frame Leila. By the time Leila pieces everything together, it’s too late. Tatum manipulates the remaining group, deflecting suspicion and leaving Leila isolated. Overcome with guilt and realizing the killer walks free, Leila decides not to reveal the truth about Tatum or her own actions. Ending The story ends with a supernatural cliffhanger, with Leila and Tatum disappearing. The campsite gets discovered by police officers
