Synopsis/Details
“The Cabin” opens with depressed Lisa Devin, and her alcoholic husband, Sam still dealing with the tragic loss of their son, Connor. After a number of years, they once again find happiness when they adopt bright and sassy, Tynisia.
But life changes again when Lisa takes her family for the weekend to her dad's cabin to pack his belongings after his passing. It's the same cabin where her mom lost her battle to cancer and also, Connor dying in a horrific accident. Then after narrowly avoiding a devastating car accident, they finally arrive at the cabin only to learn that two prisoners have escaped from a nearby prison.
The family then realizes they also may not be alone and not just because of a Civil War reenactment but also, what may be supernatural phenomenon or it could be all be reoccurring delusions due to Lisa’s addiction to anti-depressant drugs. And in order to survive the weekend and find closure with her loved ones deaths, Lisa must learn before they can move on with their lives, she must deal with her haunted past.
