EMMY HUNTER is a timid and socially awkward graphic designer struggling to care for her dementia-ridden mother. She is mocked by her mean-spirited colleagues and constantly hounded by her landlady for rent money. After she is overlooked for a promotion, she gets a psychic reading and encounters a mysterious dark hooded entity known as the Cloak who gifts her confidence and charisma. As Emmy excels at work and finds her social life blossoming, the Cloak reveals its true nature as a ravenous murderer. With a growing body count, Emmy spirals into darkness when a horrifying secret from her past comes to light.
