Synopsis/Details
A young shepherd lives with his mother, a disabled old woman, and in addition to his duties, he takes care of her as much as possible. The shepherd is relatively well-off financially and owns a plot of land in the city, some land in the countryside, and a large herd. A young, devout Muslim village shepherd was hit in the head by his brother, who was trying to steal some sheep from his flock, the night before his wedding. He suffered severe injuries and bleeding, and was taken to the hospital. The shepherd goes crazy due to a blow to the head and claims to be a prophet and introduces a new religion to the people of the village! The shepherd's wedding ceremony is postponed until he comes to his senses. The Muslim shepherd, who had previously had a warm and intimate relationship with the village priest and they used to socialize together, becomes confused after claiming to be a prophet, and the priest becomes hostile towards him. In the past, the shepherd was highly respected among the villagers, but after his claim to be a prophet, at the instigation of the mullah and the shepherd's brother, the villagers' relationship with him cooled and he was treated badly by the villagers, who constantly humiliated, disrespected, and cursed him.The cleric has a warm and intimate relationship with the shepherd's brother, who is a thief, a swindler, and a corrupt man. The shepherd's brother and the cleric fight and, through the law and the court, take the shepherd's flock and property from him. The shepherd's brother, who has now taken possession of his brother's property, gains great status and respect among the villagers, while the shepherd falls into poverty and misery. Finally, the shepherd is poisoned by his brother with a large number of pills and dies. Very few villagers attend the shepherd's funeral. The shepherd's brother watches his brother's funeral from a relatively distant distance, grazing his flock, biting and spitting at an apple, and the cleric is busy praying in the mosque
