Synopsis/Details
The Emissary is a slow burn horror thriller about an international group of teens sent backpacking into the Carpathian mountains where they are stalked by wolves as they are put through trials.
The sardonic Daria, looking to escape a dysfunctional family soon meets up with Mikayla, who pierces Daria's cynicism and the two form a close bond. Led by Chad, the teens learn to survive in the wilderness with few resources. What starts off as a simple summer camp soon devolves into a series of cryptic disappearances.
When Daria reveals the true nature of the camp - an ancient Thracian wolf cult - Mikayla rejects the truth for a comfortable lie. If any camper fails their duty, wolves carve them away from the herd, never to be seen again.
Who will be able to evade the wolves and make it to the final Pentathlon, an ancient competition designed to test the campers' martial skills and become The Emissary?
