Synopsis/Details
At six in the morning, when he should be sleeping, Tom, a warden in the UK's most successful high-security criminal psychiatric hospital, is called in to work for an urgent transfer of a new patient. This patient doesn't eat, doesn't drink, doesn't sleep, and claims to be a visitor here on Earth. Despite knowing that something's really wrong with this situation, Tom doesn't know a thing about this patient. After a group of protesters intercept his ambulance and try to violently break the patient free from Tom's custody, forcing him to fight back, thinking that he's protecting this patient, Tom quickly realises that this situation is a lot bigger and a lot more significant than he imagined. With the patient now officially safe and sound in the hospital's custody, yet not officially checked in and nowhere to be found, Tom must discover the true identity of the patient and rush to rescue him from the corrupt human forces who will go to any length to extract the information they want from him. Set against the backdrop of a collapsing society in the not-too-distant future in England, the "new normal" consists of daily struggles against a new waterborne virus, constant civil unrest, and a spate of mysterious psychological breakdowns that wreaks havoc on the people of Planet Earth.

I was twelve years old when I wrote my first short journey into the depths of the human mind and to the endless blurring of the line between reality and insanity, illusion and delusion. I didn't even read at the time - at least, not what wasn't forced on me in school - and my interest in horror and psychological thriller stories didn't come until much later. I still can't tell what influenced me to write along the themes that I did, themes that I had no life experience in whatsoever. As I grew older, I developed the conscious interests and gained some experience in the themes that I wrote along that allowed my writing to mature over time,… Go to bio
