Synopsis/Details
Lucas is an introverted video editor who arrives at the office early one morning and finds a new computer on his desk. As he explores the powerful editing software, he realizes that it's somehow capturing and displaying scenes from his own life, from the moment he was born up until that morning. Initially, Lucas is intrigued and fascinated by the software's capabilities, but as he continues to edit and manipulate the footage, he realizes that he has the power to erase parts of his own existence. In a moment of curiosity, he deletes a scene from his past, only to discover that it has resulted in his own erasure from existence. As Lucas desperately tries to undo his mistake, he begins to unravel and spiral into a state of fear and despair. In the end, he disappears completely, leaving no trace of his existence behind. The film ends with the work crew entering the office, completely unaware of what has transpired, and going about their daily routine. The camera pans away from the office, highlighting the mundanity of life without any knowledge of the tragedy that has just unfolded.
