Synopsis/Details
Desperate for money for Mom's operation, Sally and her scheming brother persuade a challenged ELVIS 'TRIBUTE ARTIST' to help them steal "the King's" body from Graceland -- never suspecting that ELVIS is very much alive and he wants his coffin back.
Elvis, actually Wesley, sporting fake felt sideburns, rushes to his gig in a grocery store, where he sings, "Luvs and Pampers, Now on Sale, Chicken Tenders Too"(tune is public domain) to bored shoppers. Sally rushes home from out of state on news that Mom is in the hospital.
Sally pulls up at "The Door Store and More" and, after passing through over a dozen doors, finds her brother., Gavin,. The dozen doors is another of Gavin's half-baked schemes.
Gavin explains that Mom fractured her tibia and femur, rushing the stage for a kiss at the Wayne Newton concert. Although Mom is one of the millions of underinsured, Gavin has a plan. He assures Sally that this is better than his plans to market edible underarm stick deodorant although it's not exactly legal and it will involve her ex-boyfriend, Wesley.
Sally and Gavin find Wesley wrapping up his grocery store gig and convene at his trailer to watch his vacation slides of Graceland. When Sally and Gavin finally unveil their plan, Wesley is aghast. He flatly refuses to help them steal Elvis' body from Graceland. Even Sally's feminine charms fail to win Wesley's consent. But when Gavin suggests that Elvis' coffin represents the ultimate, one-of-kind collectible, Wesley is in. Besides, he could use his share of the money to win an EBay bid on one of the televisions Elvis shot.
On their way to Graceland, Gavin is upset that Wesley wore his white sequined Elvis costume to a grave robbery. Sally is upset that Wesley has brought some stupid collectible on the trip. After the trio run into a gaggle of Elvis performance artists at a gas station, Wesley decides to abandon the plan. Any Elvis who is any Elvis was invited to a VHI-1 taping of an Elvis glee club performance of "My Way" and Wesley wasn't invited. Upset that Wesley seems to care more about his collectibles than about her, Sally is ready to let Wesley leave. But when she learns that the stupid collectible is for her, a Roy Rogers lunchbox, and that Wesley sold his prize Elvis collectibles to buy her gift, Sally is moved to tears. The grave robbery is on.
Their half-baked plan actually works, (Graceland is only suggested by a gate and a lawn setting) although, Snake, Graceland's mousey security guard catches Wesley emerging from Elvis' grave, after Sally lassos him and pulls him up, in full Elvis costume and carrying a shovel. Naturally, though, Snake is convinced he has seen the living dead.
Snake's colleague, Harley, reluctantly calls Burger King to inform Elvis, who is very much alive, that his coffin is missing.
Elvis calls his equally undead friends, Bruce Lee and Jimmy Hoffa to help the terrified Snake and Harley track down the grave robbers and his coffin.
On their way home with the casket, Sally and her gang run afoul of a deer, forcing Gavin and Wesley to hide the coffin in a nearby roadside cemetery.
When Snake literally stumbles onto Wesley's hiding place, an open grave, Snake is more convinced than ever that he has seen the living dead.
Hoffa and Bruce Lee stake out Gavin's house, not knowing the trio are staying at Wesley's. Snake reluctantly joins them Wesley pedals by on his paper route and peers into Hoffa's limo only to see the terrified Snake.
A police patrol interrupt Lee and Hoffa's pursuit of Wesley who continues to throw out newspapers while desperately pedaling away. The police are no match for Bruce Lee, who makes the baffled police hit and cuff each other.
Wesley leads Hoffa and Lee right to his trailer. Lee and Hoffa take the trio to a waiting jet, owned by Wayne Newton. An older man waits in the plane, who they do not recognize as THE Elvis.
After Elvis learns of Sally's motive for the crime, he reclaims the coffin and releases the trio. Sally promises they have learned their lesson.
Sally rushes to Mom's hospital room, only to find a weeping nurse. Fearing the worst, Sally finds that Wayne Newton is in Mom's room, having just performed "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast". And he paid the hospital bill.
None the wiser, Sally, Gavin and Wesley break into the Roy Rogers Museum(Suggested by a single sign) to steal Trigger.
Sally curls up with Wesley to watch TV, the one with Elvis' bullet hole in it.
