“The Hypnotist” “The Hypnotist” is a suspenseful drama with a hint of romance and comedy that’s set in the present day of Encinitas, a city in Southern California. Utilizing a limited number of sets, and few stunts and minor special effects, “The Hypnotist” could be made on a modest budget. “The Hypnotist,” tells the story of Madison Yvonne Taylor, a 26-year-old photographer at her parents' Entertainment Magazine. While on a photoshoot in New York she gets a call that her parents have been tragically killed in a car accident and suddenly becomes the guardian of her 15-year-old brother Kason and CEO of the family business along with the help of her lifelong best friend and coworker Raquel. All work and no play is fine with Madison, but Raquel has tricked Madison into seeing a hypnotist about Madison’s problem with dating and getting close to guys. After a few sessions, The hypnotist realizes that Madison's the perfect person to take advantage of because of her connections with fine jewelry for print ads in her magazine, as well as finding out the core of her dark childhood event. When Madison gets a gift from The hypnotist Raquel notices that Madison hasn’t been acting herself because of a few calls from different Jewelers concerning items missing. Raquel decides to call her cousin Phalin an undercover cop to come and help save her best friend from imprisonment. Little does Madison know the real reason why Phalin is there. Now Phalin becomes a temporary house guest while pretending to be the new head chef at his friend's new restaurant. As the days go by Phalin and Madison become comfortable with each other and develop feelings for one another. Now more than ever Phalin needs to prove Madison’s innocence. “The Hypnotist '' is a tale of defamation of character and the power of family and friends prove Madison’s innocence as they all work together to piece things together and show it’s the Hypnotist all along, but a twist in the end when in court the hypnotist has no idea what's happened and is entangled in a web of deceit herself.
