Synopsis/Details
“Driving Miss Daisy” with a dash of “Arsenic and Old Lace” – times five.
History is religion in The South. And in a sleepy Georgia town, The Ladies of the Sacred South are their high priestesses. They are our mothers and grandmothers. They are the guardians of our Past.
So what if their museum is crumbling. That’s it’s charm. So what if The Ladies of the Sacred South are old. That’s their charm.
And the historian, confident he can outwit them, discovers that he has vastly underestimated them.
With the help of a fortuitous thunderstorm, a candlelit dinner, an unemployed California actor, lost treasure, and an inadvertently summoned Spirit of a Civil War Captain, not only do The Ladies save their museum and assure it’s future but bring about the Conversion of the historian with a surprising proposal of marriage.
