Synopsis/Details
Genre: Survival Thriller / Drama / Mystery
Harvey, a man haunted by past mistakes, receives a life-altering call from Kenyan social services: Amani, his ex-girlfriend, has died, leaving behind a daughter he never knew existed. Seven years ago, Amani left him and returned to Kenya after Harvey, blinded by jealousy, betrayed her in a moment of weakness. Now, with guilt weighing on his soul and a chance at redemption within reach, Harvey boards a flight to Kenya to claim custody of his daughter.
However, fate has other plans.
Due to growing political protests in the capital, Harvey is forced to take a private aircraft to the town of Voi. The small plane, owned by a shady French businessman named Gaspard, crashes deep in Tsavo National Park—an unforgiving wilderness known for its history of man-eating lions. The crash, caused by Gaspard’s cost-cutting negligence, leaves only six other survivors:
Roxy, a witty university student researching Kenya for her thesis.
Jabari, a cold, calculating school teacher who emerges as the group's de facto strategist.
Denis, a cowardly pessimist whose panic puts others at risk.
Gaspard, who now faces the consequences of his greed.
Madeleine, Gaspard’s timid assistant, who must confront her fear to help the group.
Jomo, a quiet, intense poacher with his own deadly ambitions.
Survival becomes their only goal—but the real threat isn't just dehydration, wild animals, or infighting. It's him.
A massive albino lion—unnaturally white, silent, and terrifying—begins stalking them. Unlike normal predators, this lion hunts only them, ignoring other prey in the vast reserve. He is selective, patient, and disturbingly intelligent. Local legends speak of "The White King," a cursed spirit or vengeful god that chooses its prey with purpose.
As days pass and fear escalates, tensions between survivors boil over. Morality fractures. Trust erodes. Harvey must not only fight for survival but also confront the man he used to be, pushing himself to become the father he never had a chance to be. The journey transforms him from a broken soul into a leader—one willing to stand against a mythic force of nature.
The final confrontation is brutal, symbolic, and deeply personal. Though only two emerge alive, the experience leaves a mark that cannot be erased. The White King is not destroyed—but in the end, he is humbled.
