Synopsis/Details
On a safari in Africa, a group of reckless American tourists causes the death of a female elephant. The event is witnessed by the female’s mate, a huge bull elephant, who in the night retaliates, destroying the perpetrators camp. Their vehicles destroyed, the survivals are forced to flee on foot through the dangerous wilderness. On their march through the savannah they have to fend of various predators and survive an encounter with cold-blooded poachers, all the while being pursuit by the 15.000 pound behemoth, killing them off, one by one. After loosing their African guides and unable to outrun their attacker, the three surviving Americans must rely on their wits and courage to come up with a plan to kill the revenge poised mate before meeting their own end. The Mate combines the pulse-pounding suspense of a horror film with the breathtaking landscapes and adrenaline-fueled action of an adventure movie. It offers a fresh and thrilling take on the survival genre, with a terrifying antagonist that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats from start to finish. It's the Jurrasic park of our era. As that film managed to bring the magic and horror of dinosaurs to the screen, so too The Mate has the potential to captivate audiences worldwide and become a standout success in the adventure/horror genre.

I still remember as a child, seeing Jurassic park for the first time … the magic and horror of those magnificent creatures come alive on the silver screen … what a profound experience that was. I remember also some years later seeing **** on that same screen and thinking ... who the hell wrote this? Who the hell shot this? And who the hell paid for this? This!? I could do better. Anyone could do better. Well, now that I've tried ... this thing ain't easy. Heck, this thing is hard. Like really, really, really hard. Gazing into the abyss? Ha, try looking at an empty page, that white dismay is darker than the deepest pit. And all it ever says is ... looser. To those about to write, I salute… Go to bio
