Synopsis/Details
Father Alan Murray, the next generation priest, young and energized, breaks seal of confession and helps police arrest a murderer of two kids. Supported by the church, Father Murray participates in investigation and trial as a witness. The maniac and murderer Glenn Perry is found guilty and sentenced to life-imprisonment. However, he doesn’t spend his time in the prison peacefully. The inmates hate Glenn, and very soon he gets cruelly murdered by them. A few months later strange events take place in the priest’s house. Father Murray’s secret wife and her daughter, whom he introduces in society as his sister-in-law and a niece, get attacked by the mysterious evil settled in the house. Things get worse quickly. The ritual of exorcism doesn’t help. In despair and fear, the priest accepts an offer from his friend, detective Roger Marsh, to visit a cryptic person, called Johnny “The Flatliner”. Johnny opens the priest’s eyes to the secrets of the spiritual world and explains the nature of an essence following him. As it appears, the evil entity is not a ghost, but one of those dark astral creatures, who possess weak-willed people and force them to do horrible things to satisfy their hunger. The body of Glenn Perry was home for a demon of this kind, but now, when it's left behind, the hatred to the priest is overwhelming the dark creature. As per Johnny ‘The Flatliner’, the only way to get rid of it is to let the demon reunite with its original host - Glenn Perry… With the help of Johnny ‘The Flatliner’, Father Murray attempts to reach Glenn in the darkest area of the spiritual world – The Nether Gloom. The priest experiences the most horrible adventure of his life. A dark abyss opens up to him, changing the priest’s life forever
