Synopsis/Details:

Zach Romano grew up in Boston's North End in the 70's. It was no walk in the park. It wasn't uncommon to see a person get pummeled by some leg breakers for not paying their gambling debts or getting in too deep with the shylocks. Bruno Palermo, the "capo", just got promoted to godfather, and his son Frankie took it as a sign to become a bigger asshole then he already was and Zach was squarely in his sights. Zach let Frankie know who was the boss by the time they were teenagers.

Sixteen years later, Zach had let it all go and moved on to a good life, with a strong family code of honesty, integrity, and love. Frankie was still trying to prove himself to his father, and unfortunately, crossed Zach's path again, only to have Zach once again come out on top, though this time it cost Zach his job.

At the unemployment office, Zach meets Angie, a beautiful Italian girl who seems to be perfect and fits right into his family, but soon finds out she is Frankie's ex. She might be done with him, but he isn't done with her. Angie helps Zach through the unexpected death of his mother, and as their relationship grows, so does Frankie's jealousy. Frankie's anger erupts, causing Angie and Zach to flee to Florida in hopes of letting Frankie cool down. Bruno tries to get Frankie to let it go.

Zach and Angie think about staying in Florida and starting a new life. Zach gets a job as a limo driver, something he has always wanted to do. Once he lands his first big client, he is ready to start that new life with Angie, but Frankie cannot let them go and puts out a hit on them. If he can't have Angie, nobody can, especially Zach.

Zach and Angie find out about the hit from his Uncle back at home, who Bruno tipped off. If they could get a hundred thousand dollars, they could pay off the hitman. Even though it goes against Zach's moral code, he knows protecting his own comes first. Zach and Angie devise a daring bank robbery that involves a jetpack, a helicopter, and money from the gambling cruise ships.

Frankie, after getting turned down by his dad's hitmen, decides to sneak down to Florida to do it himself. He schedules Zach's limo to pick them up. Angie recognizes the fake name Frankie gives and prepares Zach for the pickup, thinking it's the hitman, not Frankie himself.

Zach arrives at the airport to pick up the hitman, but realizes there are two of them. Frankie watches from a distance, then grabs a cab to go get Angie. Zach drives off with Frankie's guys, knowing what is coming. Zach breaks the ice and offers them money to call off the hit. Max, Frankie's guard, who is loyal to Bruno, is interested in the exchange, but Andy just wants to kill Zach. Zach battles his way out of the situation as much as he can, but as soon as he realizes Frankie is down there too and going after Angie, he knows there is only one way to end this. Die, or at least make them think he did.

Meanwhile, Frankie pretends to be Zach's cousin Tony to get to Angie's room at the hotel. He attacks her viciously.

Zach races the limo towards Angie, arriving just in time to stop Frankie from killing her. They fight. Angie, in shock, grabs Frankie's discarded gun and fires. Frankie is set free from his demons, his anger, and his gilded cage.

Zach and Angie escape, a hundred thousand richer, but with blood on their hands for a new life. The North End Code saved, ruined, and reinvented them.
