Synopsis/Details
One young man (Kevin) is forced to leave his home and his country to be with the woman that he loves. After she (Roxana) is denied re-entry to the United States and sent back to Mexico, Kevin is left with no choice but to follow. He packs what he can and drives south until he reaches Mexico City. Our two young protagonists are soon married and trying find happiness in the world's largest city. As things seem to be going well, the young couple is confronted with a mis-carriage, and almost constant police harassment. Due to a series of circumstances, Kevin's car is confiscated by the federal police. This begins an unprecedented, legal battle that will involve a bright, young attorney who must fight diligently so that justice can prevail. While completely immersed in sadness and despair, Kevin and Roxana decide that it is time to leave Mexico and return to where they met and fell in love. This is more easily said than done, and the road back to happiness is wrought with complications and peril. With the legal matter still pending in the Mexican court system, the two main characters start the process for Roxana's legal U.S. residency. This process takes them from Mexico City to Ciudad Juarez and another round of bureaucracy. Fortunately, the mission is a success, and Roxana is now a legal U.S. resident. The light at the end of the tunnel is now visible and the young couple decides to pack what they can and return to San Antonio, Texas. It is not until almost three years later that the pending legal matter reaches the Mexican Supreme Court, and the verdict is in Kevin's favor. He becomes the only foreigner to ever sue the Mexican government and win! From there, Kevin returns to Mexico City and retrieves the very car that took him there in the first place almost four years prior. The mission here is simple, retrieve and return. In the end, true love has conquered all, and justice has prevailed.
