Elisabeth Meier, aka Betty Meier, is a German-English author of children's stories and screenwriter who makes her living by writing since over a decade. In 2007 she produced and directed her first film, a short stop motion for children. In 2017 she wrote 2 short film assignments for a director from Slovakia and finished some of her own writing projects. Later in 2017 she finished the masterclass of filmmaking and directing, taught in English, by the German filmmaker Werner Herzog and took further classes to improve her writing skills for screenplays at the DEKRA University in Berlin.
