The System

A wealthy financier made his millions by a system he had perfected over the last few decades. He recently learned that he has an untreatable cancer which is terminal. On a recent trip to the Amazon, he ran across a remote tribe deep in the rain forest. When the tribes chief befriended him and learned of the man's impending doom, he offered a rare concoction. This 'potion', when administered to a living person, immediately kills them. However, after they are dead, they can be communicated with for fifteen minutes. He decides he can use this method and apply it the same way that he approached his business. If he knows what the other side looks like, he can be better prepared. When he returns home he poisons an unwitting employee in an effort to find out what's next.
