Synopsis/Details
A man dressed as Santa attends a holiday party, drinks too much, and passes out in the woods. The next day a little boy riding his bike runs into the sleeping Santa and thinks he killed him. Worried that he will have ruined Christmas for the entire world and will be eternally punished, he meets up with his friends to devise a plan to cover up his alleged crime. When they return to the scene of the crime they see that Santa's body is missing. They agree to keep it a secret, until the little boy's guilty conscience gets the better of him, slowly turning to sadness. They decide to return one last time to the scene of the crime to say final words, and upon doing so find the "body" again (unbeknownst to them, drunk and passed out), and they perform a ritual to "bring him back to life." The man does wake up. The kids think they brought Santa back to life with Christmas magic, but the man stumbles away realizing he needs to stop drinking because waking up to kids dancing around in him in the woods is just too much.
Attached Talent

I wrote this script with Aias Dalman, Daphne Hoskins, and Jaden Oehr in mind. They are local kid actors in Vancouver. If someone produces this I'd love for them to do the roles.

She writes like a dream, and has vision for miles. And while she's really a kind and funny person, she’s the sort of no-nonsense cut-throat editor whose work you never need to review. Monika’s published on a variety of websites and blogs, and to this day, PR people still attempt to woo her inbox to promote their clients’ products. This hilarious, compelling magpie’s domestic speciality: making it all look so damn easy. But by night, she likes to get ridiculous and creative. That's where script… Go to bio
