The Traitor

Peter hears from his boss Shawn that now he is responsible for signing the contract for the shipment of vaccines. Boss hastily leaves. On their meeting, Mr. Chain (a businessman from China) tells about his mistakes and naivety which cost him a reputation. Now he is interested in quality and only reliable partners. Signing the contract of vaccine shipment is scheduled for tomorrow. After successful meeting Peter`s friend and colleague Sam convinces him to party hard at a club. Peter calls his pregnant wife Mary who he drove to their countryhouse and tells her he will arrive in the morning. Guys are partying hard. The last thing that Peter remembers is the hottest babe who looks exactly like his wife. Peter wakes up in a desert. There is nobody around him, his pockets are empty. There is just an old Nokia. All attempts to expose his friends-jokers fail. But strange sounds lead Peter to the radio, which is hidden behind rocks. Peter figures out that there is a rude and tough sniper who hunkers down the hills. His name is Pain. Pain accuses Peter of shipment of vaccines that could cause children`s deaths. Peter is lost and he denies everything. He wants to finish the game and throws down the radio – a bullet breaks it into pieces. Don`t mess with Pain. Additionally, he knows a lot about Peter`s life – about his leaving home at 17 and about cheating on his wife last night. Apart from physical threat, Pain blackmails Peter that he`s going to tell Mary everything. Mary calls Peter and informs him that she`s got a message from an unknown person. She asks to explain what is going on. Peter calms her down. After hanging up, he tells Pain that it is too much. But, in addition, Pain suspects Sam in frauds. Peter doesn’t believe anything. Sam is puzzled, he calls Peter and informs that Shawn asks where is Peter and when he is going to be in the office. Peter, being under the gun, tells that he is getting late and will reach there soon. And after the call from Mary Peter realizes she needs to go to the hospital immediately. He starts to abuse and humiliate Pain. Pain handles the pressure. His requirement remains in force – he wants to prevent vaccines from leaving the warehouse. But Peter openes his mouth, he realizes Pain can’t kill him and he starts running to the opposite side from hillside. In an unequal fight, Pain shoots Peter`s shoulder. Sniper gives him instructions on bandaging a wound. Mary still feels bad and she is alone at home. The only way to help her is if Peter calls his dad who he hasn’t seen for 13 years. It is a real challenge. After a conversation with his dad, Peter wants to be free even more and he is ready to do whatever Pain offers, which is to call Shawn and tell him that he has found some fake products in the warehouse. Pain shows Peter an evidence – there is a photo from the warehouse on the phone screen. And now Peter will have to figure out who wants to implicate him and what is the real reason why he has woken up here.
