Synopsis/Details
During battle in occupied WWII France, Jack and his two brothers James and Edward hide for safety in a their foxhole. Edward's fear and lack of courage has reached its peak with James who begins to yell at Edwards. As Jack tries to stand up for Edwards a fight breaks out between James and Jack leading to Edwards death and the shooting to begin. Jack shellshocked at the death of Edward struggles to stay near James as the war swallows him. Jack is attacked and separated from his brother and chooses to make a run for the woods searching for safety. Without his radio and lost in the woods of Reims, Jack truly begins to find himself and the depth of war. After witnessing a horrific event Jack defects from the military and decides to start a new life in France. Knowing he cannot go back to home, he finds a home and employment on a vineyard in Champagne, France. The family and owners of the vineyard begin to share with Jack the war they are fighting at their doorstep with, Nazi Weinfuhrers who raid and steal across rare and prized wines across France for Hitler as he tried to hides his past. Until one evening at the Vineyards Jack and the family help a Jewish father and daughter in need when the Weinfuhrers shows up. This night Jack fights to protect his new life at all costs, leaving dead Nazis on the vineyards property and one idea to keep everyone safe before the SS realizes. In order to keep those he loves safe, the French Rebellion provides the idea for Jack to take the three dead Nazi's and SS vehicle back to the SS Headquarters in the middle of the Champagne town where all of Jack's worlds will meet.
