Synopsis/Details
A middle-aged couple, Beverley and Ted, arrive at the airport to go on a trip to Calgary, then a connecting flight to
New York. Upon entering through the doors of the station, Beverley is thrown into a world somewhat bereft of the normal crowds one would see at an airport. And her husband is missing!
A calm Check-In Clerk tells panic-stricken Beverley to "Just go to Gate 8. Relax. Breathe. Chill..." And the Check-In Clerk fades to nothing!
Beverley does make it through a fairly empty airport - no signalmen, no security, no planes are moving, no intercom announcements, and more.
She emerges out of the time warp just as she reaches the Clerk at Gate 8. A worried Ted runs up to her: "Where were you?" Beverley tries to explain to him what had happened which does not make any sense.
Once on the plane, they seem safe as the plane takes off. Then its as if they go through a time warp because they are the only passengers on the plane! Scared, Ted looks as Beverley when suddenly they are back to the reality of a full plane.
Ted notices a stewardess and debates whether to ask what just happened, but after a quick discussion both he and Beverley decide it would be best not to ask so they don't look like idiots.
