Synopsis/Details
Janey's family were conspiracy theorists. As far back as she could remember, her parents had always been talking about the government, the Illuminati, and aliens that could assume many forms. They indoctrinated her with these ideas, and as a result, she grew up thinking that the world was a much more dangerous place than it actually was. Janey was always on the lookout for signs of government surveillance, and she was constantly paranoid that someone was out to get her. It wasn't until she met her husband that she began to question her parents' beliefs. Slowly but surely, she realized that they had been wrong all along. The world wasn't out to get her; it was a beautiful place full of love and light. Now, she looks back on her childhood with a sense of Nostalgia, and she is grateful that she was able to see the truth in time.
