Synopsis/Details
A mentor (Marcus) and his protégé (Lisa) are in an elevator catching their breath before their next fight, they're both tired and injured. Marcus asks Lisa for her gun, claiming that he's tired and that they don't need to do this, she hesitates, but eventually relents. Marcus takes the gun, and shoots himself in the head. Lisa isn't shocked by this. The elevator stops, and she considers her options before taking the gun and shooting herself. This causes time to reset itself. We see Marcus and Lisa again on the elevator, but in a better state and without any injuries. Marcus tells Lisa that she needs to learn when it's smart to restart (implying that this is something both can and have done before). The elevator reaches its destination, and they both exit it to continue their fight.

The Writer: Sereida Mar Arrieta

If my love for filmmaking wasn't enough, seeing the short film I wrote on the big screen sealed the deal for me forever. Now I write about ordinary people with extraordinary circumstances, odd things that may happen, and everything that might seem weird or fun. Currently working on more short scripts, a feature length script a producer I've worked with before, and all of that while working on my debut novel. Aside from that I love talking about space, movies and books, so feel free to message and talk. sereida.marr@gmail.com Go to bio
