Synopsis/Details
A rom-com with a body count and a pig CARLY DUBROW is a wanted woman. See, she's the only witness to the murder of a DEA agent. The killer wants to... well... kill her and the feds want to keep her in protective custody, which to a free spirit like Carly, isn't all that much better than being dead. On the lam in Vegas, Carly hooks up with someone who definitely doesn't want her — MATT ELLIS. Matt’s life is perfect the way it is. He's this close to being made partner at his firm and he's about to marry the well-bred, tight-assed, DIANE HUNT —the yin to his yin. But after a champagne−fueled night that includes a visit to the Graceland Wedding Chapel, Carly and Matt are “wed–locked.” For Carly, the ill-conceived nuptials are something of a blessing, giving her a place to lie low while she figures out her next move. Not so much for Matt who scrambles to end the marriage while keeping Diane and Carly in the dark about one another, and his nearly perfect life from being ripped to shreds. Which turns out to be a seemingly impossible feat, what with the sexy, human tornado that is Carly dismantling it piece by piece. When Carly finds out about Diane, Matt becomes obsessed with uncovering her secret, leading him to inadvertently lead the killer straight to her. Can two people who fate brought together stay alive long enough to get out of their own way? And just how strong an explosion can a Twinkie® survive? Laura.Scheiner@roadrunner.com
