Synopsis/Details
Successful and eccentric filmmaker, Tobias Taylor, expanded his movie empire by creating a theme park based on all his popular movies: Movie World. Each ride is based on each one of his popular movies. Stargazer: Space Traveler of the Future, Mystery of Dinosaur Island, Scourge of the Zombie, The Wizard's Staff, and The Vampire's Castle. After only a few years, facing financial troubles, the theme park closed and became abandoned. Flash forward 10 years later to the 1980's. A young boy named Ethan, a lifelong Tobias Taylor fan, enters the abandoned park one night and is astonished to find one of the rides coming to life. Freaking out, he bolts out of the theme park, dropping his deceased father's pocket watch. Desperate to get his pocket watch back before his mother finds out he lost it, he calls up his best friends: the sarcastic loveable Corey, the shy and timid Chubbs, and Chubb’s cousin, video game loving Kimberly. He convinces them to help him find it, but they find it hard to believe the rest of his story about the rides coming to life. The friends go to the theme park, and encounter bullies Butch, Travis, and Latisha, on the way. Ethan and his friends enter the theme park to hide, as the bullies chase right after them. As they try to hide within different rides, the rides start coming to life. They now find themselves transported into the actual movies. The Ghost of Tobias Taylor informs them that they must now reenact the rest of the movie in order to leave. Ethan, his friends and the bullies must now fight zombies, aliens, vampires, dinosaurs, and evil wizards or be stuck in the rides forever! Welcome to Movie World.
