Synopsis/Details
In this world, your eye color really means something. It means you could be one of the most powerful beings or the world, or a person trampled on by those powerful people. Gray-eyes are one of the rarer colors and so are incredibly strong. Brown eyes are weak, no amount of them together could defeat a Gray. Grays even tried to kill all those with eye colors rarer than them in order to the keep 100% in their control. The problem is, that killing all Purple-eyed, Red-Eyed, etc. was impossible and some got through the cracks. One of these to escape the Grays was Purple-eyed man who hunted Grays he believed had done wrong. His murders became well known among the non-grays and he formed a town underground where all non-grays could live peacefully. “Haven.” For a time it was great, until the GPS (Gray Protection Service) caught up with King and killed him. Many believe he’s still out there, but no one can know for sure.
One of the GPS agents that killed King was Samson Roxtus. Son of a wealthy businessman who he tries to stay away from. Samson has been fine of late. Cases are down, it’s a good time to be a GPS until, word of a Gray being murdered is found and the Gray was killed how King used to do it. Samson’s boss puts him on the case. He heads to the final resting place of the murdered Gray.
Meanwhile, down in Haven, Sarah, the daughter of King has assumed leadership but everything is falling apart as King was the only one who could keep it all together. She heads to a meeting with “the Greenhouse.” A gang run by Javier, a Green-eye.
