Synopsis/Details
Veronica Easty moves to town from Salem and quickly wins over a tight group of friends. Fascination turns to infatuation as she seduces everyone she encounters and displays intimidating, drug-induced magical talents. Several odd circumstances lead the group to investigate Veronica's background and discover not only that she might be descended from a witch hanged at Salem in 1692, but they are each somehow related to the accusers of her ancestor. After two of the group die under suspicious circumstances, and convinced they are next, the two de facto leaders of the group, in a panic, take matters into their own hands and plot to suffocate Veronica in her apartment. After Veronica's death and her eulogy by her grandmother explaining her obsession with magic tricks and flirty nature since her parents died in a terrible car crash, the two quickly realize they likely made a huge mistake and murdered an innocent girl. We are left wondering, was Veronica a witch or did she die because of fear and ignorance- wiccaphobia.
