Synopsis/Details
Wicked Torment is about a young woman, Rachel, who has been afraid all her life, afraid that she is going to inherit the disease that has claimed all the other women in her family line. A long-standing history of schizophrenia has plagued her family for generations and Rachel worries it is coming after her. She has exhibited strange unexplainable abilities throughout her life which have only been escalating. Things go from bad to worse for her after she moves into her Aunt's secluded Victorian Queen Anne house that was willed to her, a house that has been in her family for ages. A house with a sinister past. Rachel soon feels as though she is entirely losing her mind as she is constantly tormented by a malicious presence in the house. Rachel begins to bear witness to horrific and foreboding disturbing imagery. At first, she convinces herself that it is all in her head, her mind having had played tricks on her before. As terrifying as they are, Rachel soon finds herself wishing the apparitions are real. She is even more fearful that she is losing her connection to sanity, petrified that she will wind up like the rest of the women in her family. It soon becomes evident that these ghouls are far more than something created by her mind.  She begins to see three ghosts, the family that originally inhabited the house. They are a trio of ghastly wickedness, depraved and vile beyond comprehension. They are real and one of the phantasms, Sam, is hell bent on killing Rachel. He lashes out and attacks her with an onslaught of vicious unrelenting determination. Rachel learns that her family isn't schizophrenic, they're haunted. Generations have been slaughtered by Sam in order for him to gain the abilities they have, only making him stronger. Rachel is warned not to let him obtain them from her, for if he gains the necessary strength to break free of the house, his prison, he will become a plague on this earth, unleashing unspeakable evil from which there will be no escaping, for anyone. It becomes apparent that it is far too late for Rachel to simply move away as she is attacked outside of the house as well. The spirits have latched onto her, refusing to let go. Rachel turns to the aid of the church, hoping her soul can be saved before it is consumed by the wicked.
