Synopsis/Details
The Trouble With Harry was that Harry was dead. The trouble with Jack is that he's not… But, he is stuck in Charlene's windscreen. After a night out on the town, Charlene (a nurse by profession) drives home, drunk and out of her head on drugs. Almost asleep at the wheel, she is brought back to consciousness when Jack steps in front of her speeding car and is hit head on. With her victim becomes embedded in her windscreen and looking very dead, Charlene makes a decision that will change her life forever - To take her victim home. Matters become worse when her victim suddenly regains consciousness. From this point, life spirals out of control for Charlene and a series of deceptions follow, involving her obnoxious neighbour Daniel, her errant boyfriend Ian, and her bisexual best friend Ellen, who all become involved in the situation. Tensions mount and the weekend becomes a pressure cooker of lies, secrets and desperate plans. The outcome is uncertain for all except Jack, who must make peace with his past. Bereft of conscience and humanity, Charlene and her helpers hack Jacks body from the windscreen and bury it in a copse. Stress reaches boiling point at the burial site and it is there that the last horrific acts take place. Who survives and will they be discovered are the final questions in this barbaric story, based on real events.
