Congratulations to Chris Courtney Martin who finalized the sale of her script Grandma's Hands in the summer of 2022 and is expected to see shooting begin before the end of this year. The short thriller about a downtrodden young woman who, upon the death of her estranged grandmother, inherits a pair of gloves which preternaturally compel her to strike back at the oppressive men in her life has been picked up by Wyonna Rutledge of Izak Productions after it was featured on Shootin' The Shorts. Chris says, "I'm very glad to have connected with Wyonna on Script Revolution. I'll be the sole-credited writer on the project, which is a very healing remedy to the Hollywood flimflam debacle that tainted what was supposed to be my big spec feature break in 2021".
