I have uploaded several scripts but none of my posters are selected for viewing. How come? What do I do?

Hi Yvonne

I am fairly new too and when I first presented my posters, none were selected.

As CJ mentions on the poster wall tab

Poster Wall

Our members go to a lot of effort to produce poster images for their scripts. Here are the best. Click any poster to go to the script page. For affordable professional level poster design, Script Revolution recommends commissioning a reputable designer on Fiverr. Don't have Photoshop and want to take a shot yourself? Try Canva and select the Poster design type when creating your new graphic.

I redesigned some of mine... making sure the title stands out... maybe start with that. :)

I had a look at you posters and the titles are very small.

Hope this helps.

The issue is, and I say this with nothing but love, they aren't quite good enough yet. All you need to do is make them the correct portrait format, make the text clearer, and centralise it. That should be good enough to get them displaying. Believe me, I HATE having to have a cutoff but it's something I've had to do in reponse to industry feedback.

Keep in mind that people like Lily Blaze can also make you a poster at very low cost.

Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, it was a no-no to use anything but 12pt Courier on your title page...And artwork of any kind was verboten in any type of agency submittal. It now seems both permissible and advisable to have a poster with an online script presentation. It's still a bit subjective and beauty is in the eyes of the holders, BUT please make those titles legible and don't hide them in the artwork...Pretty please?

One question though...

When you do update a poster, how do we notify we have done so to be reviewed?

I have an admin interface for rating posters. I try to do it as often as I can. Yvonne, if you use the one Lance has kindly supplied, the script listing it applies to will be suitable for the featured section. Plus, since you're a Rockstar member, it will also show randomly on the front page which gets over a million hits a year.

All appears to be in order and the script in question is now in the featured section. Well done all.
