is it possible to delete scripts from the "read request" list? If not, such a feature would be nice or some kind of flag that allow me to markt them as read.
Pretty sure that was not what he was asking. I think he was asking - on my read request page/list, can I delete the read requests that I have already handled (responded to).
I am guessing that the answer is going to be no from a practical perspective - i.e., CJ would have to go through the mind-numbing process of determining if after a read was approved - did the requestor download the script??? Personally, I hope the list remains forever.
Oh, okay. The read request list. No clue if that's possible, Personally, I just don't grant access if I don't want to, for whatever reason, then forget about it. I suppose you could ask CJ if the read list could be purged, or wait for him to notice this thread. Whatever works for you.
No need for deletion as long as the scripts are sorted by request date and not the title. And a simple private flag system like "thumb up", "thumb down". "maybe", "still to read" would be great.
I agree with Dave, the way it is works fine for me.
I get what you're saying, Thomas, it does seem simple to organize differently. Click/tap, repeat, done. But that's for the user/person. Behind the scenes, that needs extra designing and coding. It gives me a headache just thinking about the work that would be need to make that happen. But, then, I'm, not a coder, in all fairness. There could be a quick and easy way, and I just don't know about it. I agree what CJ mentioned, that the possibility of read requests getting lost is a real concern. Hopefully there's a middle ground.
For the meantime, I'll offer what I do, if it helps you. I create spreadsheets for everything. Name, date, contact info, follow-up date. Extra notes in a column if needed. It helps me to keep track of everything, I hope it helps you. The current Read Request page is simple enough that I can just copy and paste in my spreadsheet.
Go to the Edit page for the script listing,. Scroll down. There’s a checkbox to opt-out.

No option to do this yet but I'll look into adding something. I just don't want a situation where people end up losing their requests somehow.

I like the complete list. If I was going to change anything:
Right now it is GREEN for a GRANT ACCESS. It stays like that if (1) you haven't responded or (2) denied access.
It goes to RED if you GRANT ACCESS and changes the button to REVOKE ACCESS
I would like it to be
GREEN - for GRANT ACCESS
GREEN - for REVOKE ACCESS
RED - ACCESS DENIED
With a click option on the Access Denied if you want to change your mind to Grant Access
But no big deal - the feature is wonderful
