She sees a cat on the porch and panics. Richard runs the cat away. Richard returns to the house with groceries and an ancient object. He forgot to buy wine, so he heads back to the store. Bracy reads a message on the object. “Something” shows up at the house and possesses the cat. The cat gets inside the house. Bracy tries to escape from the creature, but it uses supernatural abilities. As Bracy tries to leave through a basement window, the cat – now a man-sized cat monster – attacks her. Instead of running, she overcomes her fear and faces the beast. She grabs a kitchen knife and stabs the monster repeatedly, killing it.
