Synopsis/Details
Ishaan Sanger is a frustrated filmmaker whose career is going nowhere, despite attending a prestigious film school.
On the night he decides to finally give up on his dreams, after countless rejections and mounting pressure from his father to join a family business, a sudden power outage occurs in his neighbourhood. In the darkness, Ishaan falls down the stairs and slips into a coma.
Two days later, after he wakes up in the hospital, Ishaan is stunned to discover that the world has changed: movies and television no longer exist, and no one remembers the most iconic films ever made, except him.
Realizing the once in a lifetime opportunity, Ishaan sets out to "create" legendary films like The Godfather and Pulp Fiction, passing them off as his original work. His success is meteoric, and he quickly rises to become a global icon, hailed as the godfather of modern cinema.
But as the accolades pile up, Ishaan begins to grapple with the cost of his deception. His choices begin to reshape the world's cultural history, forcing him to confront a difficult question: Does he want fame, or does he truly love cinema?
