Logline: A prisoner only has one task to do to be released.
Synopsis: In this one page horror short, BRIAN is chained to the wall of a dank dungeon. He is on his hands and knees in front of spilled rice, carefully picking each one up and placing it in a pile.
A guard enters and stands in front of Brian, who remarks that he is almost done, and reiterates that he'll be released from his confinement once he finishes. The guard pulls out a brown paper bag and pours out more rice on the floor in front of Brian, who, in a panic, admits he has lost count.
As the guard exits, Brian wallows in self pity for a moment before starting his count of the thousands of grains of rice over.
