AMBUSH is a true story, dramatized as a short film that proves the real world of local politics and campaigns in Los Angeles is as thrilling as any political fiction. Set in 2013, the short follows QUINN, a young campaign manager on the effort to elect the first openly LGBT person to citywide office in LA history, as a bizarre and homophobic smear attempt threatens to derail the surging underdog campaign.
