Synopsis/Details
AGENT 800 AUDIO DRAMA PILOT: James Wormley Jones, a light-skinned, African American detective in the Washington, D.C. police department, is deeply disillusioned with his treatment on the force and struggling to reconcile his identity as a black man living in a white world whose skin color allows him to effortlessly exist in both. Following the investigation of a bombing by communist terrorists, Jones encounters John E. Amos, an African American working for the government who offers him the opportunity to ‘make a difference.’ Amos convinces Jones to prove himself a patriot and join the Radical Division of A. Mitchell Palmer’s Bureau of Investigation, led by an ambitious 24-year-old J. Edgar Hoover. Hoover immediately assigns Jones to infiltrate the United Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) led by Marcus Garvey, whom Hoover has decided is a threat to national security.

Most of her work has been collaborative, writer-for-hire, and/or editor for television series, web series, features, short films, and scripted podcasts in various genres. Her personal sweet spots are drama and "dramedy," but she enjoys the challenge of writing others when given a chance. Her projects have earned accolades from Honorable Mention to… Go to bio
