Synopsis/Details
Martin Koontz is living a happily sedated life. Nothing much effects his day to day as a kindergarten teacher. I mean, they're kindergartners! What's the worst they can really do? Well, Ellie Schoffield thinks kindergartners can do a lot. Frankly, she believes they can run the class without their hard-pressed teacher. And, through this hilarious yet heartfelt short film, she seeks to accomplish just that. At a quick 15 pages, "Anarchy in the Pre-K" is funny, absurd, and is something I hope brings us back to the chaotic nostalgia of being a kid.

The Writer: JASON TURK

Hi! I'm Jason Turk, a news producer and freelance screenwriter looking to learn about, analyze, and eventually create stories which speak to themes close to my heart. My stories tend to focus on character-centered conflicts created by the dueling philosophies of labor and aspiration. They seek to find an answer as to how, as we are pushed further and further towards lives of banal work, we can still find moments of inspiration for ourselves. Or at least, that's what I hope the stories discover. Enjoy! Go to bio
