Synopsis/Details

Premise.
Eddie Templeman has seen better days. Sacked by his country following an incident in a Barbados strip club, he has been making a living as a long distance lorry driver for ten years.
That all changes when he takes a job that takes him to a remote part of the Scottish highlands, a small town on the north coast. It is there he meets a local restaurant owner, and cricket nut, Ravi. Ravi recognises him instantly and persuades him to coach the new cricket team he's putting together.
Eddie reluctantly agrees and he begins to find out a lot about his team, his new employer, and himself as he takes his plucky team of amateur cricketers/professional crofters, all the way to the tournament final at the Grange in Edinburgh.
In a gripping final act, a surprise face from the past makes a startling confession to Eddie, and this news threatens to derail him on his road to redemption.
Eddie Templeman is back...but back in the small time.
