ESTRANGED MISSION: ACT 1: Opening Scene: LIA, 25, a beautiful, terrorist bomber, is in the Palestine desert with a group of terrorists all in black shrouds and masks. The sun is blistering as she holds a knife steady on an American activist's throat who's on his knees; and while HOTHEAD spouts off religious beliefs into the camera, she cuts the American activist's throat. Seattle, ROY HANNA, 55, retired CIA intelligence officer, fit, is drinking whiskey while he fieldstrips his guns for leisure. He lives in a cabin in the mountains and has been in solace for years. A member of an Anti-­‐Terrorist Unit pulls up to his cabin, Michael. Roy trained Michael and he is now commanding officer of the ATU. They have a brief discussion about retirement and then Roy asks Michael why he is here. Michael offers to pull Roy out of retirement and assign him tactical command to ensnare a terrorist group planning to kill a politician in America, MAX SANDERS, political delicate. The scheme that is actively in progress is rigging numerous Palestine Beauty Pageants within the Middle East region to secure access to the US without detection or suspicion for a Miss Earth competition. The terrorist believed to execute Sanders is Lia. Michael pulls out his iPhone and shows Roy the footage of the beheading and says she did the killing. The reason for selecting Roy is because Lia, is a successful bomber of the Terrorist Group and is the beauty queen in the operation. Roy asks why doesn’t the ATU take her down, noting they can handle it. Michael reveals Lia is Roy’s estranged daughter. Born from a short-lived romantic relationship in the 90’s when he was still active in the CIA doing intel in Palestine. Roy is flabbergasted, he asks about her mother, CLAUDIA, and Michael says she died in terrorist attack years ago. This is possibly motivation for Lia’s mission, revenge. She is not aware of Roy being her father. Lia believes her biological to be an average Palestine citizen. Michael says he understands if Roy feels the mission might be too personal, could jeopardize the whole operation but felt he owed it to his mentor to offer the task. Roy agrees to do the mission for his country and Michael says he will leave tomorrow morning for Palestine. He will be given credentials that vouch for him being an esteemed photographer from a highly publicized American magazine. Roy is a photographer himself, a hobby. Later that night, packing up his clothes etc. Roy is contemplating a moral conflict of taking down his target, his estranged daughter. Does reveal the truth to her if he is just going to arrest her? Or attempt to make a friendship vicariously through his cover. Roy lands in Palestine airport and is debriefed by his new ATU in a secret location, possibly US Embassy. They show him surveillance footage and satellite photos of the terrorist group Hamas, committing bombing, etc. They focus on Lia, who the team does not know is the estranged daughter of Roy, just the target. She has won many pageants so far by bribing judges. The Terrorist Group has been funding the whole operation and it has succeeded greatly. A total of four agents are in the ATU: Roy, Michael, Teresa, and Chucky. TERESA, 30, ATU Agent, is credited with making the whole operation functional because of her detailed eye when reading a beauty magazine in Palestine, Lia is on the cover, big beautiful browns eyes, she recognized them. She had a facial analyst compare the eyes of the beheading terrorist with Lia’s and they matched. To confirm the identity, they put a tail on her for weeks and she had been seen having secret meetings with known terrorists, courtesy of satellite footage going where agents can’t. At this point, Michael thinks the best route to go is to recruit Roy because he is seasoned in infiltrating organizations, familiar with the Palestine region. The Anti-­‐Terrorist Unit’s main objective is to get Lia onto US soil and after confirmation of the bomb and assassination attempt on president-elect Max Sanders will be apprehended and imprisoned for terrorism. Roy is impressed with their diligence and now with tactical command, orders their first action is to plant a wiretap in the limo of Lia’s entourage. She is competing in a pageant in a couple of days and needs to secure this win to move onto the finals. The ATU does some slick tactics by disguising themselves as limo drivers and plant the wiretap. Roy in a safe location records her bribing a judge with bars of gold stolen from Saddam Hussein’s regime to lock her in as the 1st place winner. Night of the Beauty Pageant, Lia has just won in a coliseum full of spectators cheering, her fans. Roy stalks from the crowd, in photographer's vest, gear, camera, looks legitimate. After Party in Palace, this is a party of wealth and luxury, everything is gold, music is loud, sports cars are in the driveway, finest foods, sexy dancing. The toast of the party, Lia is dancing with a sword on a table and it ends with the Hothead firing off a gun and the crowd cheering. Roy moves in to make contact with Lia and secure a photoshoot while the ATU is doing surveillance from rooftops and street corners, watching everyone and taking names, using night-vision goggles and cameras. Roy takes pictures of the Terrorist Group in fancy suits, posing with women and laughing, having the time of their lives. Roy approaches Lia on a balcony with a glass of champagne and introduces himself as a photographer, they have some laughs and take a picture together. Roy makes a comment about her beauty and she must get it from her mother, she gets emotional. Roy recovers with another comment of admiration and she is convinced he can do a photoshoot with her. The mission for the night is a success, ATU regroups at their secret location. Roy has developed the pictures he took and the ATU has a Terrorist Group pyramid on a whiteboard. Narrowing down names and positions in the Terrorist Group, who does what, and where, etc. The team is growing more confident with Roy’s expertise. Lia attends an opera performance which is also an opportunity to bribe the last Beauty Pageant judge to secure her win and a ticket to America to compete. During the opera, the ATU is setting up wiretaps, mini-­‐cams, and are disguised as waiters for the after-party. Lia has a conversation with the beauty pageant judge and offers gold for bribery but he does not accept, incorruptible. She doubles the offer that she gave the other judges but he still declines. Roy and ATU know that this is unacceptable and prepare for Lia’s worst. ATU puts a tail on the incorruptible judge as a precaution. Later, Lia has a talk of countering this unforeseen obstacle with Hothead. He says if they kill the judge and he is replaced by someone they hire, then she will win. Lia agrees and they set in motion to kill the incorruptible judge. Lia has a pet snake. Palestine Political Ball, Lia, and Max Sanders meet and Roy is in attendance to keep an eye on the interaction. She sweet talks him and he expresses his daughter is in the beauty pageants in America and is a fan, they take a picture. He takes the podium and gives a speech to the crowd about ending the oil trade to stop overseas jobs and boost the economy in America’s job market. This is met with skepticism from the audience some are for and others against. (The US Military later revealed hired the Terrorist Group to kill him so that they can maintain control and profit over oil reserves/trade.) Photoshoot, Roy gives her a gift only her mother would get because Roy gave Claudia the same gift in the past, full circle. This brings Lia and Roy closer to each other, bonding. ATU finds out that an incorruptible judge is going to be killed but how? ACTION SCENE: Lia convinces a male Terrorist Bomber disguised as a pregnant woman, masked face, the pregnant belly is a bomb. The team scrambles to stop her and save the judge but does not succeed. Attempts to protect him by telling him to allow it to happen so that they can arrest her in America but he is hard to reach and it is too late. BOOM! ATU doesn’t approve of Roy pointing out that the incorruptible judge dying was an asset to the mission, gets Lia closer to Sanders and them to their target. ACT2: Red Carpet Event. Roy at some point puts his hands on Lia without her expecting and she reacts with a military combat counter. She lets her disguise slip and she gets suspicious when Roy knows the move she used. They go for a helicopter ride over Palestine opening up about their past. Secret Meeting, Terrorist Group wearing all black veils Lia as well. They talk about the internet being a psychological weapon to use as infiltration into America, social media. Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, are protecting the Terrorist Group. CIA doesn’t expect a foreign celebrity to be a terrorist. Lia inspects a decoy bomb (audience doesn’t know it’s a decoy.) Roy or ATU agent meet with Rival Terrorist Group and with sack overhead to keep location hidden and discover that Lia is not radical, she is doing it for profit. Possibly in Dubai? ATU poses as terrorists to get a meeting? While the meeting was taking place, ATU agents planted GPS trackers in Rival Terrorist Group’s vehicles. Days Later, Roy and ATU stop the Rival Terrorist Group who plan on killing Lia to secure her own mission to America and theirs. They discover in the process, the sexual assault of young children to commence for Allah and stop the molestation in time. Brief shootout. Lia has a seamstress measuring her for new dresses and when she is finished has Hothead update her on the decoy bomb and its location in NYC. They also discuss the Rival Terrorist Group being killed and who is looking out for them? Hothead says he will investigate to find out who benefits from their Terrorist Group staying alive. Roy has the last Palestine photoshoot with Lia where he met her mother, more bonding, emotions getting real. She asks Roy to accompany her on the flight to America. Atlantic Ocean, Lia and Terrorist Group are flying over the waters at night headed for America. An internet signal on the plane gets jammed by ATU, this makes Lia suspicious. ATU left earlier by a huge cruise ship and the Terrorist Group from the skies above are about to fly over them. Hothead gets confirmation of the ATU below them and sends an assassin out of the jumbo plane to land on the cruise ship and murder all ATU agents. Jumbo Airplane, Roy watches all this happen from the deck below in his seat on a monitor, horrified, helpless. He gets enraged and has a “suggestive” conversation with Hothead about avenging the death of loved ones. When they land at JFK airport, he is solo, all ATU agents are dead and Roy’s NASA friend sends him HD images of the agents floating in the water. The assassin meets up with the Terrorist Group later at the hotel. Morning, The Beach, Roy gets info about the bomb from New Team. He strategizes a new plan. New Team tells Roy that the man beheaded was given up by the US military to further scare Max Sanders to not proceed with the oil reserves being abandoned. He was never kidnapped, they handed him over. Lia orders the murder of a Chinese Representative there to make a deal on oil reserves, taking away from Palestine at the last second, something she didn’t anticipate. The target is poisoned and whisked away without detection as to not spook the pageant into canceling. Elaborate cover-up, getting the body out of the hotel. ACT 3: Roy places his New Team in a hotel across the street to do surveillance and to keep them away from Lia who is suspicious of everyone, even Roy. He has a suite next to her. The night before, Lia makes the bombs and detonator herself in the hotel suite. She wraps charges in C-­‐4 material and cotes them in oil, making little balls, she swallows them. Day of the Miss Universe pageant Roy discovers the location of the bomb in a New York subway and sends New Team to investigate it after he discovers it to be a decoy, losing them to make arrest alone, tells them to wear radiation masks. Roy races through the tunnels, through traffic, and into the hotel. He has a fight with Hothead and learns he ordered the killing of the ATU agents, Roy kills him. Roy sprints for the auditorium with only minutes left for Lia to explode. Auditorium, Lia has come in 2nd place and goes to congratulate the winner, Max Sanders’ daughter. She is seconds away from hugging him and detonating the bomb. She’s tearing up, Roy shows up in time to shoot, wounding her. Sanders is rushed away and Lia is hospitalized. The top story on the news: “Terrorist Attack Foiled”. Lia is arrested and convicted for terrorism and is in the process of being extradited back to Palestine for trial. But Roy proves with a DNA test to be her parent. Once she is claimed and recognized as half American, dual citizenship, she can be sentenced to life in prison on US Soil. Saving her from being be-­‐headed in Palestine. In prison, she gets letters and photos from her father of them at parties, bonding. THE END.
