Synopsis/Details
'Cold Smoke' is slang for super-low density powder snow (aka 'Duck Feathers') that is effortless to ski and coveted by skiers.
Based on a personal experience from what seems a lifetime ago. I am the character 'Squat' and can picture it like it was yesterday. It was an early season in the Wasatch, November, 1992.
No sh*t, there I was....
Two seasoned ski patrollers take a rookie out for training and to perform avalanche control. The rookie decides to learn about avalanches the hard way.
This could be produced on a shoestring budget with a couple of GoPro cameras, a drone, and the right people. This has Sundance, Banff, and Telluride Film Festivals written all over it!
